Our Kids Programs
Which Program is Best for my Child?
-
Our preschool program has been designed for kids between 2-5 years old. Our preschool kids typically spend the morning making friends and exploring our activities in a free play environment. Our Believe Preschool leaders spend time encouraging them to participate in various songs, crafts, games and activities that teach our littlest children all about Jesus.
If you have a child or children who are 2-5 years old and you would like to introduce them to Believe Kids, please click on the Connect With Us button and one of our Kids Leaders would love to make your child feel welcome on Sunday.
Please Note: Due to child protection policies, our Believe Kids Leaders will not change dirty nappies. We encourage all parents to ensure their child is toilet trained before attending our Preschool program. -
Our Primary program has been designed for kids who are in Kindy to Year 5 at school. Our primary school program encourages our kids to make friends and have fun, as we learn and build on the foundations of faith in Jesus.
Our morning consists of free time, praise and worship, team games and activities as well as a foundational bible lesson, pitched at their grade level.
If you have a child or children in Grades K to 5 at school and would like to introduce them to Believe Kids, please click on the Connect With Us button and one of our Kids Leaders would love to make your child feel welcome on Sunday.

Welcome! We’re very excited to be able to meet you! On your first visit to Believe Kids, one of our Leaders will ask you to fill in a registration form with your contact details and any relevant information we need to know about your kids.
Please bring a water bottle and a jumper for your child in case they become cold during their time in kids church. Just like at school, please ensure all items are labelled so they don’t get misplaced. -
As your children settle into the routine of Believe Kids church, they may experience some anxiety as they try something new. You are welcome to stay and join in our kids program with your child. Our warm and friendly Leaders often find that if a parent leaves after a few minutes, it helps the children develop a bond and connection with the leader team. Please be assured, that if your child is not settling or has been upset by an incident, we will let you know.

Sometimes kids can protest about coming along to kids church, perhaps they haven’t slept well or aren’t feeling like they’re having a good day. We encourage you to talk to the leaders and let us know, so we can make an extra effort to help your child feel at ease in kids church. The best way for your kids to make friends and enjoy our program is to come along regularly. The week to week engagement with their community is a big factor in helping a child feel like they belong.
-
We would love your child to bring a drink bottle of water with them to Believe Kids. Some of our games and activities are so much fun, we get thirsty! We do provide limited snacks for the kids during the program, but we ask that you don’t bring your own food, so we can cater appropriately to allergies and food intolerances.
-
On arrival at church, our Believe Kids team will be ready for your kids to check into our program from 9:45am. Once your child has been signed in at our desk, you are free to leave to join our main church service.
Please note - we only allow adults (over 18) who are noted on your registration form, to sign your kids in and out of our programs, so please escort your kids to our rooms. This is important, so we know that our littlest people are in the care of an adult while they are not in our program.
Please ensure that you sign your kids out of the program at the end of the service before catching up with other families in our church community, so our leaders have time to pack up the program and also fellowship with us during morning tea. -
The health and well-being of the littlest people at Believe Church is our priority.
We ask that you not check in your child if they display symptoms of any illness or infectious disease, or have been clear of any symptoms for at least 24 hours prior to checking into our Believe Kids program.
We comply with current COVID19 regulations at all our services and may request that you also comply with current regulations for your children to participate in our programs.
All adults over the age of 18 who are engaging with your children as part of the Believe Kids program are required to have completed a Safe Churches course and hold a current and valid Working With Children’s Check. Our teenage volunteers also work under the close supervision of our adult leaders.
